Sunday Morning Coffee Thoughts

By Glen Dudasik

When I stepped outside with the dogs this morning I felt ready for that familiar sting of the bitter winter morning. I had prepped for it by bundling up in my heavy gloves, winter coat, fleece lined boots and stormy cromer only to be met with a gentle surprise of the faint and distant warmth of spring.

I stood there for a moment under a pale pink sky and was reminded that better days will be here soon. For many, including myself, this is the Lenten season; a time of tragedy and healing, repent and rebirth. The promised joy of Easter will soon be upon us, may we rejoice and be glad in it.
